Name:
Ciaran Doyle
Age:
24
Picture:
Will come, hopefully soon since I just ordered some new books to help me draw shitty pictures.
Height:
5’9’’
Appearance:
Ciaran has stormy dark grey eyes with flecks of green in it, which he regards as his most remarkable features – aside from that, he considers himself to be just average. His chocolaty brown hair is always unruly and he struggles to find the right cut for it, something refined that doesn’t leave him looking like the everlasting bed head; until now, without success. His skin is a bit too pale from sitting inside and studying so much, which unfortunately isn’t all that flattering when combined with the dark circles under his eyes and the glasses that cover his piercing eyes. This and the fact that he doesn’t really possess the fashion knowledge and self-esteem to really make something out of his sharp, well-defined features and body, makes him appear less attractive than he actually is – still, he is far from being ugly – it is just easy to overlook him since he doesn’t stand out, but if one takes a good look at him and manages to make him smile, he can look very appealing.
Personality:
Ciaran was a very shy kid when he was younger, and has never really managed to come out of his shell – or the closet, for the matter. Being different was something that always defined him, so instead of trying to connect to other people, he embraced this part of his personality and concentrated on his studies instead. What got him good grades at school and a spot at a top-notch university in his medical training carried on into his personal life, and made him struggle with not managing to be perfect; even though he forces himself to go out every weekend to at least try to find a boyfriend, he still remains a bit shy and awkward, and fears to embarrass himself when he tries to communicate – a complex that probably stems from old times when he used to be bullied. Being frustrated with his incapability of finding friends and boyfriends has made him a bit sarcastic and moody, especially when under pressure. His dry humor can be pretty funny at times, though he is always surprised whenever someone actually laughs about it.
Family:
His parents separated when he was sixteen, leaving him to stay at his Dad’s house since his mother moved back to Ireland. He and his dad didn’t really get along, but didn’t fight either, so Ciaran was pretty much on his own. It didn’t bother him that much though, and he still dutifully writes letters to his parents from time to time. He has an older sister, but they don’t talk all that much either since they live in completely different worlds.
Race:
Human
Motives:
To finally find a way to connect to people, to get a steady boyfriend and to find something to do with his life aside from becoming a doctor.
History:
Explained in Personality and Family.
Powers:
None
