Name: Reuben Sirett
Age: Born October 29, 1708. 'Died' August 12, 1734.
Picture: N/A
Height: 6'
Appearance: Well dressed and wears a thin pair of red-tinted sunglasses as his current signature. Naturally as a child, he had light blonde hair... but his current dyed hair was jet black and slicked against his head. Once his eyes had been a natural green, but now it was a dark reddish brown, changing only just after he fed into a bright blood red. He has high cheekbones, heavy eyelids, and a fang-like normal smile that would charm normal people whilst at the same time making them wary of him.
Personality: A dangerous man who likes to play with his food, foremost, but easily obsessed by certain parts of life; becoming -in a sense- addicted to 'moods'. Unlike most stagnate old vampires, Reuben spends most of his 'eternity' learning everything there is to learn about... well... everything. The only trade he never bothered learning about was cooking, and it should be obvious why he never bothered with it. Because he dedicated his ample free time to learning, working interesting high-paying jobs, and had an ancient 'family' bank account, Reuben was quite well off now and was currently working the old standard; as a free clinic emergency doctor that only opened at night. Some died, many lived, but his form of payment was always a small donation of blood, if the person was able to give it. During these times he always had a cold, slightly sinister, clinical air about him. Perhaps the fluorescent lighting of his small place of business did not help...
Family: Once upon a time, he had a sister named Evangeline, a mother named Mary, and a father named -also- Reuben. His sister was burned to death in a fire a few years after Reuben disappeared. His mother died of a mysterious illness that Reuben later decided was breast cancer, and his father died of old age. In his 'death', however, Reuben has created a few children... none of which lived with him now, and most of them having purposely been left behind by Reuben when they started to give him, what he called, 'The Boring Vampire Blues'.
Race: Vampire
Motives: Interest-fueled exploration, toying with his food mentally and physically, and om nom nomming on necks.
History: Told throughout story... maybe.
Powers: Flying, hypnotizing, healing himself/others, photographic memory, and reading minds.
Other: Vampires do not burn in the sun if they are awake. While awake, they sunburn rather easily but they do not catch on fire. Asleep, however, they are incredibly vulnerable and will catch on fire if brought out under the sun, and as such they still have a penchant for sleeping in coffins and enjoying a quiet night owlish night. They do have a reflection, feel nothing when garlic is presented to them, feel nothing when touched by a cross -though many might become cynical atheists in their lives to cope with feeding on humans-, and will not die if staked in the heart. They are cold to the touch, and only able to get aroused enough to have sex after they have fed, and fed well. They will die if they do not feed atleast twice a week. Also, most don't have the ability to make the biting feel 'good' and Reuben would be one of those that don't have that ability.
