Name: Tallin Wren

Age: 26

Height: 5'8''

Appearance: Tallin is rather slim, but wiry, with fair skin an a few freckles on his nose which give him a boyish, cheeky appearance. he's got blond, curly hair to his shoulders that ranges from platinum at the top to hazelnut at he nape of his neck. His eyes are sky blue. All in all, he looks very harmless.

Personality: Tallin's got a sunny disposition and isn't one to mope, but instead he tries to make the best out of everything. He loves his family and feels responsible for them. He despises the new order because there's no place in it for his music, but he sings whenever he can to make other's lives a bit brighter. Tallin can be a bit of joker, too, and loves to tease people he likes. He also talks a bit too much.

Family: his sister Jora, 22, and his brother Leon, 18. His parents died some years ago due to black fever. Lean is a stable boy and unfortunately a troublemaker, Jora works as a seamstress and has a one-year-old little daughter, Tallia, named after her uncle. Jora's husband got killed when the invading forces took the kingdom.

Race: human

Motives: some day getting back to the capital to his family, but at the moment just getting away as far as possible from the Magi.

History: Tallin was training to be a bard at the capital, and it had been his greatest wish to become a bard at court. When the kingdom was seized, however, his chances flew out of the window because the new lords dislike any form of music, stories and refined culture and instead love fighting shows and drinking games. Tallin took some secretary work at one of the new lord's house, but when the lord got a strange visitor with the title High Magus, things got worse. Apparently, Tallin has some sort of gift the Magi of the new reign are looking for, especially for controlling people and expanding their influence. Tallin took the first chance to get out of the capital, although he's feeling bad about it because of his siblings.

Powers: Tallin has a magic gift that can influence people (a bit like the bardic songs used in Dungeons & Dragons). But it's mainly a good influence, he can calm people, make them happy, sing their sorrow away and even persuade them a little to be friendly to him. So far, Tallin thought his to be just a natural affect of his music. Tallin's singing voice is rather deep which is a nice contrast to his appearance (if you look at the lead singer of the Finnish band Negative, you'll know what effect I mean ^^)
