i prefer deciding on a genera, but races could work too.
Some ideas for Races:
Human
Elves
Centaurs/Transforming horse people *Thank you Sam
Demons or Angels
Aliens
Robots/Cyborgs

sooo many choices... Don't really want to do Aliens, and Robots/Cyborgs seem cool... Centaurs and Elves interest me as well... hmmm...

Ahem... Anyway, by genera, I was meaning more along the lines of sci-fy, Fantasy, and so on, but if you are interested in Robots/Cyborgs, Elves, and Centaurs, I guess that kinda moves it towards sci-fy and fantasy.
Hmm... As for a type, Action, Horror, and Romance or a mix seem interesting.

they are genres, child xP I just skipped out on fantasy and science fiction because I felt like it xP Did you know sci-fi is actually a derrogative term? I didn't until I read the Oxford dictionary on the subject. OFF TOPIC. Anywho... We could have a Steampunk fantasy thing going on. Like we could have cyborg centaurs or dark elves or stuff like that  |

Hmm... I'm not a fan of steampunk as far as cyborgs go since the machines are supposed to be rather clunky. Elves could work with that though.

I was saying that steampunk was fine, as long as it wasn't the cyborg or robot thing. XD
Anyway, if you are wanting centarus, then yeah, fantasy would probably be better.

Dark lord has a religious (and dark) superiority complex so me enslaves those from the territories he takes over.

But there has to be a resistance force and what-not.

local peeps that fight and have to go into hiding at various places once they've lost battles. Becuase let's face it, there will likely be less people joining the resistance if everyone is getting killed/enslaved as soon as this dark lord conquers an area.

I always plays elves, so I'll go with a centaur this time ^^
Of course odds are that I'll have a few other characters as well just because I'm good like that, so I'll have an elf or two as well.
I'm thinking Female centaur and male elf for starters. How about for you?
