Disclaimer: This thread could contain some spoilers for those who have not read the entire comic. Come on, you can't tell me you weren't thoroughly intrigued by the guy. First we knew him as simply "tall, dark and rapist" and then he makes some rather direct demands only to walk right out of the room, make us wait a week, and shock us yet again. Just what exactly is that handsome man up to? |

The handsome Reed man, I believe, currently sees Rory as an asset... not quite non-caustic to future relationship dynamics between them. Reed has a more lax personality outside of business -or just with Rhys, shown so far-, and I think it shows that he is quite... well... blunt, in all matters outside of truly personal ones. I can see Rory possibly getting a little depressed being just Reed's, when Reed probably won't give acknowledgement easily... and poor Rory might actually need that encouragement at points.
Either way, it shall be very, very interesting to me~

I think the small (or rather, quite enormous) personality trait of Reed's we were introduced to is definite hintage of how possessive the man is. Whether that translate into a strictly impersonal one (i.e. Rory and Reed take time to develop as their characters unfold) or something much more than a mere transaction is left to be determined and so highly anticipated. :3

wow...I must be the only person who isn't fond of him. hahaha. I don't mind his manners, I don't mind his clothes or status or the clean factor...IT'S. HIS. HAIR!!! I'm halfway tempted to run up and tackle him to give him a haircut...hell..someone send Linneus his way.

But without his fantastical beautiful totally not masculine long hair he wouldn't look nearly as... silky and aristocratic...

Hahaha. aristocratic, yes. But attractive (for me) no. I really do want to see what he would look like with short hair, so hopefully someone will love me enough to do a fan art ;D
but...seeing him with long hair is now making is weird for me to see him with short. So im screwed. pfft.

I said silky, not attractive~ Personally I tend to like characters that manage to look silky without having long hair... the scientist type of silky behavior. Long hair is a little too common in anime guys... probably because it helps cover up ears, which are always awkward to draw.

ahh, so many people like Reed that I automatically registered what you said meant "attractive".
I wonder what his first few sketches looked like. Emirain should post those.

I've always been the opposite. I don't mind short hair. In fact, Reed's hair is probably too long for my tastes (aside from the fact that he's a drawing). But I don't necessarily LIKE Reed just yet either. He's interesting to me, for lack of a better word and I want to find out more about him.

well, he's still rather new-ish... but from what we got so far he doesn't bother me. His clean fetish amuses me because I need clean things too..but not like his extreme extent.
I'm actually intrigued as to how he's going to handle Rory. I mean, he's quite a different personality compared to most that I've read..so it's kinda hard for me to see how they will "blend" together.
Also, it is good to see him talk more when he's with Rhys, hopefully that will soon open up with the redhead.
Oh, I want to see him physically scrub Rory down in a bath xDDD just like E drew.

I love his long hair. Especially with his personality. It makes me want to deflate his big head by running up to him and ratting his hair into an afro! :3 But I'm sure Rory will bring out his softer not-so-pompous side.  |

BUT
I do think he will surprise us and if and when he does take Rory's virginity, he will be soft and gentle.

See..many of us dont like Reed, but you dont see us bitching the hell about it on the comments. xDD oh wait, that's because we actually RESPECT the artists.. we're in a whole other level then that moron.
but, I think Reed will be a good fit for Rory.. <3 I hope he gives him a bubble bath like the post it pic they created <3 That...would rock.,

Definitely, I think that Emirain is absolutely amazing in the way they create so many diverse and interesting characters. I think Reed is very interesting and intriguing, but as a person I would hate his guts.

I like Reed... and it's not just because he's Rory's partner.
As I see it, Reed only checked out Rory if he's indeed a virgin. Period. No romance, no hidden motive, nothing whatsoever. Just checking of Rory genuinely virgin.
Being a "neat-freak" that he is, he only wants a body that hasn't been "touched". Even if a little bitch like Lilith was a virgin, I bet Reed will still jump at the opportunity of getting a virgin bed partner... and to have that person exclusively his so that they won't be "stained" by others.
Looking at the bigger picture, Reed's "neat-freak" attitude and emotionless facade all roots from a complex past and this is where everything about Reed may start getting interesting.
Emirain is a genius.
